Having a computer at home is great, and these days it’s almost becoming essential! But who do you turn to when things go wrong? How do you know if you are getting the best from your investment?
We offer a true personal service - locally
Our relationship with our clients typically starts with a Home Call Out. This initial visit gives you the opportunity to explain the nature of the problem or service that you require. We can carry out an assessment, often diagnose any problems and frequently provide a solution within the time of the initial call out.
Our initial visit is charged at a fixed low-rate fee so you can rest assured that you will not be confronted by a limitless bill. (Please ask for current rates when you phone) Should you require further work to be carried out this will be estimated and agreed in advance. This covers our charging policy and information regarding what happens when we need to remove your equipment to our workshop and/or need to carry out technical procedures on your equipment.
We will invoice you for all costs and charges. For security reasons, we do not handle cash or cheques whilst out on calls
Besides being required for technical reasons, it is often advantageous to carry out even some routine work in our workshops as it can reduce the cost to you. If we have to sit at a customer's computer whilst a lengthy automated procedure, such as a scan, is in progress the charge can become excessive. By removing your equipment to our own premises we can reduce the costs substantially.
Much of our work is repeat visits to existing clients, most of whom we count as old friends
Many of us reach a point where our computer isn't performing as it should. Usually, it's a software related problem - sometimes, it's down to the hardware. You could attempt to hunt down the problem and repair it, which in turn will cost you time, frustration and, if you're not sure what you are doing, could leave you in a situation worse than the outset
We offer a complete Troubleshooting and Repair service to cover those eventualities when your computer starts behaving erratically or fails alltogether. More details ...
